Speedwork Indonesia, a Singapore-based O2O automotive maintenance solution featuring O2O kiosks serving motorcycles in Indonesia, emerged as the winner of the Digital Transformation (DX) Award 2021 in the Business Services category. The award was organized by the Swiss Chamber of Commerce (SwissCham) in Singapore in collaboration with Deloitte.
The DX Award conducts a regional search for innovation and digitalization across Southeast Asia. This year, the awards featured eight categories: Cybersecurity, B2C, Healthcare, Insurance, Financial Services, Advanced Manufacturing, Business Services, and Buildings & Infrastructure. Out of a total of 45 submissions received, Speedwork was the only Indonesian technology startup to advance to the final stage of virtual pitching on the final night.
The O2O smart kiosk for motorcycle services represents Speedwork Indonesia’s business model, developed in collaboration with PT Gajah Tunggal since last year. Its key differentiation lies in integrating technology and data at the core of its business operations, while supporting a unique ecosystem that includes product support, mechanic development, marketing, business assistant support, as well as kiosks and equipment.

This business model not only offers significant business opportunities, considering there are more than 75 million motorcycles in Indonesia, but also delivers a positive social impact. It has the potential to increase income levels for more than 100,000 informal micro and small enterprises in the motorcycle service sector, while also contributing to human resource development in the automotive industry.
